Anonymous Social Media Accounts Linked to Left-Wing Politics

Anonymous social media accounts that ran sharp political campaigns against the right-wing since October 7, 2023, have been linked to Moshe Redman, a candidate for the Knesset with the "Democrats" party. Channel 14 reported that the accounts, which began operating the day before the October 7th massacre, were registered to Lilach Beit On, who currently holds a senior position in the "Brothers in Arms" organization. However, the email address associated with the accounts points to Redman's company, which recruited social media personnel along with Moran Michel and others.

Beit On declined to comment, and Redman's response was not received. The campaign involved thousands of videos, tweets, and posters promoting political messages throughout the war. The accounts attacked the government, the settlement movement in Judea and Samaria, rabbis, and right-wing journalists like Amit Segal. They also called for early elections, targeted companies advertising on Channel 14, and promoted Redman's public activities.

Publications from these accounts included claims that Nasrallah, Sinwar, and Khamenei desired Benjamin Netanyahu's continued rule, that the IDF's collapse on October 7th was due to the settlement movement, and attempted to legitimize draft refusal campaigns. The accounts ceased operations in 2025 after the elimination of senior terror leaders and the failure of the early election campaign.
