Arab Follow-Up Committee Plans Memorial Tour for Jerusalem Uprising Martyrs

The Higher Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens in Israel has announced a program to visit the graves and memorials of martyrs from the "Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Uprising." The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, aims to commemorate the anniversary of the uprising as a unified national struggle.

The tour will commence in the village of Jatt in the Triangle region and conclude in the city of Arraba in the Galilee. A central national march is set to take place in Arraba at 4:00 PM.

The itinerary includes stops at specific times and locations: Jatt at 8:30 AM, Umm al-Fahm at 9:30 AM, Muawiya at 10:30 AM, Nazareth at 12:00 PM, Kafr Kanna at 12:30 PM, Kafr Mandi at 1:30 PM, Sakhnin at 2:30 PM, and finally Arraba at 3:00 PM.

The national march in Arraba will begin at 4:00 PM in front of the Old Mosque on Dhahr al-Umar Street and will conclude at the school square near the martyrs' memorial at the west-north entrance of the city.

The committee noted that this national program is separate from local visits and marches, and the timings are approximate due to travel and traffic conditions. Local authorities in the mentioned cities and villages are urged to coordinate with families of the martyrs and local committees, and to prepare wreaths for placement on the graves and memorials on behalf of the Higher Follow-Up Committee and the National Committee of Heads of Local Authorities.
