Man Critically Injured After Fall in Jerusalem's Old City
Fire and rescue teams from the Egoz station and a special rescue unit successfully extricated a man in his 50s who fell from a height of over 6 meters (approximately 20 feet) in a narrow alley of Jerusalem's Old City. The man sustained serious injuries, including a head injury. Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Kais Zahir stated that due to the difficult access to the location and the severity of the victim's condition, initial medical treatment was administered at the scene. Rescue personnel utilized rope systems to safely bring the man down before he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
