Nahariya Plans Extensive Simchat Torah Celebrations Across City

The Nahariya Municipality is preparing for Simchat Torah celebrations, inviting residents and visitors to participate in traditional "Hakafot Shniyot" (second circuits with Torah scrolls) events. These festivities will take place throughout the city on Saturday evening, October 3, 2026, beginning at 8:00 PM.

The main event is scheduled for the central stage in the Municipality Square on Ha'atzmaut Boulevard. Additional celebration sites will be located in various neighborhoods, including the old commercial center in the Tromeldor neighborhood. Numerous synagogues across the city will also host events, such as "Moshe Rabbeinu" in the Nahariya Hayeruka-Shprintzak neighborhood, "Chevrat Tehilim" on Rambam Street, "Eli Cohen" in Regem Park, "Yitzhak Avinu" on Rotem Street 30, and a synagogue on Ha'Hagana Street 22 in the Neve Alon neighborhood.

Further locations include "Shlomo HaMelech" synagogue on Ha'Tzanhanim Street in the Ariel Sharon neighborhood, "Eliyahu HaNavi" in the Shimon Peres neighborhood, a synagogue in the Boymel-Achziv neighborhood, and the "Shaul HaMelech" (2 Shlomo HaMelech Street) and "Aharon HaKohen" (1 Efraim Shrir Street) synagogues in the Osishkin area.

The Nahariya Municipality encourages the public to attend in large numbers to celebrate Simchat Torah together and enjoy the uplifting holiday atmosphere throughout the city.
