Religious Zionist Rabbis Gather for Annual Jerusalem Event

Hundreds of rabbis and thousands of participants from the Religious Zionist community convened at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on Monday for the 13th annual "Hakabalat Panai Rabo" (Welcoming the Face of the Rabbi) event for Religious Zionist rabbis. The gathering, organized and managed by the "Derech Eretz" Rabbis Organization, featured prominent figures including the Chief Rabbi of Israel, heads of yeshivas, city rabbis, rabbinical judges, and community rabbis from across the country.

The evening included Torah discussions led by key Religious Zionist rabbis, held in a festive atmosphere celebrating Torah scholarship. This event has become a significant tradition for the national religious public during the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday.

Rabbi Binyahu Horev, chairman of the Derech Eretz Rabbis Organization, expressed his excitement, stating, "To see here hundreds of rabbis and thousands of participants, from all over the country and all shades of the Religious Zionist public, gathering together for the honor of Torah and the honor of our masters, is a great privilege." He emphasized that the 13th occurrence signifies a tradition rather than just an event, calling it a central meeting point for the Religious Zionist rabbinate during Sukkot.

Horev further noted that Sukkot, a holiday of joy and connection, is fittingly marked by such a gathering where rabbis and the public unite. The event concluded in a spirit of holiday celebration and respect for Torah, with the Derech Eretz Rabbis Organization planning to continue the tradition in the coming years.
