Israel U21 Star Ben Harush Confident Ahead of Crucial Euro Qualifiers

Noam Ben Harush, a defender for Israel's U21 national team and Maccabi Tel Aviv, expressed strong confidence ahead of the team's crucial European Championship qualifiers. The U21 team, aiming to improve the national mood following the senior team's disappointment, faces Slovenia on Tuesday. Ben Harush stated that the team is determined to win their upcoming matches and secure qualification for the Euros, emphasizing that "it depends on us." He believes the team is close to achieving something unprecedented.

Ben Harush highlighted his increased playing time at Maccabi Tel Aviv as a factor in his current good form, which he aims to bring to the national team. "Every day I come to the team and the national team, I push myself as far as I can, improving the things I need to improve and fix, showing that I can bring more," he said. He also praised U21 coach Guy Luzon, with whom he has worked for two years, stating that Luzon "brings out a lot of things" from him and that the team trusts him.

Discussing his versatility, Ben Harush noted that he is comfortable playing both left and right back, a skill he has utilized in both the national team and his club. He believes this adaptability is an advantage. Regarding the senior national team, Ben Harush expressed patience, stating, "My time will come," and that he will continue to work hard for a call-up. He also offered support to his friend Roy Revivo, who is currently playing in Spain.
