Ben Gvir: "Even AG and State Prosecutor Can't Deny Evidence Against Abu Shakhadeh"

Minister Itamar Ben Gvir responded to the stance of the Attorney General and the State Prosecutor, who recommended to the Supreme Court that Sami Abu Shakhadeh be disqualified from running for the Knesset due to his support for armed struggle against Israel. Ben Gvir stated that "even the Attorney General and the State Prosecutor cannot deny the evidence we brought against Sami Abu Shakhadeh, and recommended to the High Court of Justice to accept the petition of Otzma Yehudit and disqualify him from running for the Knesset."

Ben Gvir further added that it was regrettable that instead of the Attorney General's office gathering materials against those who support Israel's enemies, the work was done by attorney David Balali, who is ranked 11th on the Otzma Yehudit list. Balali collected and compiled the materials that led to this position.

Ben Gvir concluded by saying, "Otzma Yehudit will continue to act decisively against supporters of terrorism and those who act against the State of Israel."
