Young Bedouin Man Dies After Construction Site Accident in Central Israel

Hisham Ibrahim Abu Shalzam, a man in his twenties from Ar'arat an-Naqab, died at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot from injuries sustained in a fatal construction accident. The incident occurred at a building site in Kiryat Ekron. Magen David Adom paramedics received a report at 12:23 PM about a worker injured on the job. Upon arrival, medical teams found the approximately 25-year-old worker unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and with severe injuries throughout his body. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts and transport to Kaplan Hospital in critical condition, medical personnel were unable to save his life, and his death was later confirmed.
