Israel's Largest Mall Opens New Wing in $27 Million Expansion
Kanyon HaZahav in Rishon LeZion has unveiled a new 12,000-square-meter floor, marking a significant expansion and investment of approximately 100 million shekels (around $27 million USD). This addition makes Kanyon HaZahav the largest shopping mall in Israel, with its total area now reaching approximately 122,000 square meters.
The new floor features 30 new stores, including international anchor brands and flagship stores, offering a diverse mix of fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle products. Tal Gindi Friedman, who led the renovation, stated, "We are excited about the opening of the new floor, which includes beautiful stores of leading brands with a rich and varied mix that strengthens Kanyon HaZahav's position as a leading national shopping destination."
To celebrate the opening during the Sukkot holiday, the mall is bringing back "Wheel of Fortune." Customers who spend 600 shekels or more can participate for a chance to win prizes, with thousands of gifts to be distributed throughout the holiday. Additionally, a Sukkot-themed creative workshop area for children and families will operate on the new floor.
