New 'Tzimm Urban' Mall Opens in Central Israel With 80 Stores
A new open-air shopping center, 'Tzimm Urban Bakat HaSharon,' has opened in Or Yehuda, central Israel, as part of Rani Tzimm Shopping Centers' expansion. Located at 5 HaCarmel Street, the 17,500 square meter complex features two retail floors with approximately 80 stores, restaurants, and businesses. It aims to serve residents of Or Yehuda and nearby communities in the Bakat HaSharon region, including Kiryat Ono, Yehud-Monosson, Ganei Tikva, and Savyon, as well as eastern Ramat Gan.
The center offers a mix of food, retail, lifestyle, and service businesses. While some stores are already operational and occupancy is nearing completion, others are set to open soon. Notable businesses already present include Greek Salon, Super Tal, Roladin, BePharm, Nono Noodles, B Fresh, Twenty Six, Noy HaSadeh, Soltam, Ivory, and The Stock. A Toys "R" Us branch is expected to open next week.
The opening was marked by a festive event held two days prior, featuring street activities, live music, and entertainment, which drew a large crowd. The establishment of the mall follows Rani Tzimm Shopping Centers' acquisition of a 29.99% stake in the project from Geshem company for approximately NIS 105 million. This transaction valued the complex at around NIS 330 million, and upon completion, Rani Tzimm is expected to hold full rights to the project. The occupancy permit for the center was received in December 2025.
'Tzimm Urban Bakat HaSharon' joins other Rani Tzimm centers across the country. In the past year, the company launched two 'Seven' brand centers in Tamra and Rahat. Future openings include 'Tzimm Urban Dead Sea,' which has undergone significant upgrades, and 'Tzimm Urban Kfar Saba,' currently partially operational and slated for full completion later this year.
