Israeli Actor Shlomi Yifrah Reveals Weight Gain, Cites Medication

Shlomi Yifrah, a well-known Israeli actor recognized for his role as crime boss Maor Ezra in the drama series "The Policemen" and his participation in "The Amazing Race Israel," recently shared a personal struggle with his followers on Instagram. In a candid post from his Sukkah, Yifrah admitted to significant weight gain, expressing disappointment with himself. He wrote, "I've gained weight, and a lot.. I'm a bit disappointed in myself but oh well, it's not terrible."

Further elaborating on the reasons behind the weight gain, Yifrah revealed that he is undergoing medical treatment involving injections. He explained that the current dosage may no longer be suitable for him and that he needs to increase it. Yifrah acknowledged that the situation could have been more severe if he weren't on medication, stating, "If I weren't on injections, I would probably have gained more."

He also confessed to noticing an increase in his eating habits recently, which likely contributed to the weight gain. Yifrah concluded his explanation by stating his intention to increase his medication dosage, linking it to his recent dietary patterns.

This personal revelation follows the recent conclusion of a joint project between Yifrah and Assaf Zaga. In July, the duo announced the end of their podcast, "Men in Black," after nine months of activity, citing a professional decision to conclude the series. While the future of the podcast remains uncertain, they hinted at upcoming projects, promising "many good things are on the way."
