Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Addresses Torah Scholars in Jerusalem

A significant gathering took place on Saturday night at the 'Hazidim' synagogue in Jerusalem, coinciding with the "Ushpizin of Isaac" portion of the Sukkot holiday. The event, a "receiving the face of the rabbi" ceremony for the Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, drew numerous Torah scholars, city rabbis, judges, yeshiva deans, and members of the Chief Rabbinate Council. Rabbi Yosef delivered a discourse on the laws of Sukkot, following speeches by other prominent rabbis, including Rabbi Zevadia Cohen, Rabbi of Tel Aviv; Rabbi Zamir Cohen, Dean of the Nezer HaTorah Yeshiva; Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Rabbi of the Western Wall; and Rabbi Yitzhak Cohen, Rabbi of the 'Shmuel HaNavi' neighborhood.

During his address, Rabbi Yosef emphasized the importance of Torah learners and blessed public figures and Knesset members, praying they would fulfill their mission to protect Torah scholars, whom he described as the true guardians of the Jewish people. Following his speech, attendees, including city rabbis, judges, members of the Chief Rabbinate Council, and other public figures, came forward to receive his blessing.
