Arab Israeli Chess Players Achieve Success in National Championship
Ram Nidal Muasi secured third place in the open category of the Israeli Rapid Chess Championship, earning 5 points out of a possible 6. He tied on points with the second-place finisher, showcasing a strong performance against elite competitors in his age group.
In the girls' competition, Lana Jamil Sharsh was crowned champion of Israel for girls under 10. She also finished seventh overall in the tournament with 4.5 points from 6.
These achievements are the result of continuous work, training, and preparation under the guidance of coach Jihad Zaabi, founder of the Nazareth Chess Academy. Zaabi is dedicated to developing both Muasi and Sharsh for future competitions.
The success marks a new milestone for the young players, who aspire to achieve further notable results in upcoming tournaments.
