Rebbe's Grandchildren Lead Sukkot Celebrations Amidst Chassidic Festivities

During Sukkot, Chassidic communities across Israel, particularly in Bnei Brak, engaged in vibrant celebrations, marked by the traditional "Hakafot" (circuiting with the Torah scroll) and "Ne'anua" (waving of the Four Species). A unique custom observed by the Modzitz Chassidim involved one of the Rebbe's grandchildren, adorned with a "kalpik" (fur hat), holding the Torah scroll in the center of the synagogue while the congregation and the Rebbe circled the bimah.

In Bnei Brak, the Rebbe of Mahnovka-Belz was seen participating in prayers and the "Ne'anua" ceremony. The Rebbe of Naral, the eldest Rebbe in Bnei Brak, was also observed performing the ritual of the Four Species. His son, Rabbi Aharon Shapira, a renowned expert on the Four Species, was present.

Chassidim of Darg were treated to the Rebbe's "Ne'anua" and "Hakafot" ceremonies, with his voice amplified for all to hear. This year, a special innovation included the amplification of the Rebbe's voice during the "Hakafot" and "Hoshana Rabbah" prayers.

Other celebrations included the Zutchka Rebbe's "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" (rejoicing of the water-drawing festival) in Bnei Brak, where participants experienced spiritual elevation. The Tolded Aaron Chassidim in Jerusalem held a lively "Simchat Beit Hashoeva," drawing a diverse crowd from across the religious spectrum, including Chassidim, Litvaks, Sephardim, and those wearing knitted kippahs, all dancing together.

Concerns were raised among Gur Chassidim due to the Rebbe's absence from prayers and "Ne'anua" ceremonies, attributed to a cold contracted from being in the Sukkah. Meanwhile, anticipation builds for the "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" events and "Tish" gatherings hosted by the Rebbe of Kretshnif Kefar Ata in Jerusalem, featuring a VIP section and festivities lasting until morning.

Reports also emerged of critical health conditions for the Rebbe of Dzhirka in the United States, prompting prayers for his recovery. The Alexander Rebbe held his "Tish" for Sukkot, where Chassidim sang holiday songs and the Rebbe delivered words of Torah. The Rebbe of Mahnovka-Belz also held his "Tish" in Bnei Brak. The Temesvar Rebbe conducted a "Tish" combined with "Melaveh Malkah," featuring the recitation of fifteen Psalms of Ascent. The Kozhmir and Uzherov Rebbes held their "Tish" gatherings in Bnei Brak. The Spinka Rebbe of Ramat Aaron held a "Simchat Beit Hashoeva," with the participation of the Rebbe of Mebakesh HaShem. The D'aash Rebbe held his "Tish" in Bnei Brak. The Vizhnitz Rebbe performed the "Ne'anua" in his private Sukkah. The Lelov Rebbe celebrated the end of Shabbat with Kiddush and dancing. The Spinka Rebbe commemorated the 50th anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Nachman Kahana, author of "Da'at Kohen." The Darg Rebbe's Sukkah in Bnei Brak featured an impressive art installation made by young Chassidim. Finally, MK Yitzchak Goldknopf and Moti Babchik were seen together at a "Tish" hosted by the Dzhikuv-Vizhnitz Rebbe in Beit Shemesh, alongside local council member Chanoch Dranger.
