Fire Engulfs Residential Building in Kiryat Gat; Rescue Teams Search for Trapped Individuals
Firefighters from the Ashkelon regional station were dispatched to Shofet Street in Kiryat Gat on Monday following a report of a fire in a residential building. Upon arrival, fire crews immediately began working to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent structures.
Firefighters are currently operating both inside and outside the building, penetrating the fire's core in an effort to gain control of the blaze. Simultaneously, search teams are conducting extensive sweeps within the structure to locate any individuals who may be trapped and ensure no one is in danger.
The Israel Fire and Rescue Services (Southern District) stated that further updates will be provided as the situation develops. They also reminded the public to immediately call their emergency hotline, 102, in case of any fire or emergency situation.
