Rebbeim Lead Sukkot Celebrations Amidst Chassidic Life

Chassidic communities across Israel marked the Sukkot holiday with vibrant celebrations, led by their Rebbes. In Bnei Brak, the Rebbe of Koidanov led a "Shulchan Tahor" (pure table) for Simchas Beis Hashoeva, sharing Torah insights on the holiday's essence. The Rebbe of Mandbourna also hosted a similar gathering, celebrating the "Ushpizin" (guests) of his late father, the Baal "Be'er Yaakov" of Mandbourna.

Other Rebbes were also seen actively participating in holiday rituals. The Rebbe of Kozmir was observed in fervent prayer for the recovery of his aide, Rabbi Binyamin Dov Schreiber, who suffered a stroke. The Rebbe of Alexander was seen taking the Four Species during the recitation of Hallel, accompanied by prominent figures in the Chassidic community. The Rebbe of Spinka provided a touching moment of fatherly care by comforting a crying child during Simchas Beis Hashoeva.

Further celebrations included the Rebbe of Modzitz performing the "Nianuim" (shaking of the Lulav and Etrog) with ancient melodies, and the Rebbe of Nareel, one of Bnei Brak's elder Rebbes, taking the Four Species with his son, a noted Halachic authority. The Rebbe of Darg incorporated amplified sound for his prayers and "Hakafot" (circuit processions) this year, while the Rebbe of Zutshka led hours of ecstatic celebration. The Tolded Aaron community in Mea Shearim saw a diverse crowd, including those wearing knitted kippahs and Sephardic Jews, dancing together in unity.

Amidst the holiday festivities, there were reports of concern for the health of the Rebbe of Gur, who was reportedly unwell due to a chill. Additionally, difficult news emerged regarding the critical condition of the Rebbe of Dzhirka, with prayers being offered for his recovery. The Rebbe of Kretschneif Kfar Ata in Jerusalem is preparing for major Simchas Beis Hashoeva events, including a VIP section for "Chutznikim" (outsiders).

Other holiday-related events included a "Tish" (gathering) held by the Rebbe of Machnovka Belz, and a "Tish" by the Rebbe of Temesvar that incorporated the recitation of fifteen Psalms of Ascent and a "Melaveh Malkah" (post-Shabbat meal). The Rebbes of Kozmir and Uzharov also held their respective "Tish" gatherings. Simchas Beis Hashoeva events were also held by the Rebbe of Spinka Ramat Aharon, with the participation of the Rebbe of Mebakesh HaShem.
