Kanga Karu Scores Brace Again for Curaçao in Nations League Win
Maccabi Haifa player Kanga Karu scored two goals for Curaçao in their 6-1 victory over Nicaragua in the Nations League on Sunday night. Karu netted the second goal in the 11th minute and the fifth goal in the 39th minute, playing 78 minutes in the dominant win.
This marks the second consecutive match in which Karu has scored a brace for the national team. He previously scored two goals in Curaçao's 4-3 win over Costa Rica. With these goals, Karu has now scored ten goals for Curaçao, tying him for fourth place on the all-time top scorers list for the national team.
Curaçao currently has a perfect record of six points in the Nations League and is set to face Trinidad and Tobago next. Two of Curaçao's top three all-time scorers, Leandro and Juninho Bacuna, are also currently part of the national team.
