Top Rabbi Warns of Dire Situation, Claims US Against Israel

Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, a prominent Lithuanian Yeshiva leader, delivered a sharp critique of the political left and expressed concern over a perceived lack of divine assistance during a special gathering of the Degel HaTorah party in Modi'in Illit. The event, held in the Sukkah of designated Knesset member Yehuda Weissfish, was attended by party officials including Yaakov Asher, Pinchas, and newly elected MKs Rosenthal and Zaltz.

Rabbi Hirsch described the current situation for Jews in Israel as the most difficult he has witnessed in his lifetime, stating, "The entire world is against us, even in America, which we thought was on our side. This is not true; almost most Americans are already against us." He elaborated that if a war were to break out, the US might be unable to provide aid, emphasizing the need for "great divine assistance."

According to Rabbi Hirsch, this perceived lack of divine favor stems from the strengthening of the political left. He urged attendees to prevent the left's rise, countering the notion that they pose no threat. "Everyone needs to know that there is no room for grumbling; everyone must do the maximum possible to participate in the elections for Gimmel," he stated, referring to the party's ballot symbol.

He stressed the critical importance of the upcoming elections, warning that anything less than 10 mandates for their party would be detrimental. "This is the only way to prevent the power of the left in Israel," he declared, concluding with a prayer for success and the sanctification of God's name.
