Historic Prayer Gathering in Radin to Include Names of Participants

Following the Jewish High Holidays, a significant prayer gathering will take place in Radin, Poland, at the site where the revered Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan, known as the Chofetz Chaim, lived and worked. The event will convene prominent rabbis and Torah scholars for an intense prayer session. Central to the ceremony will be the placement of the "Sefer HaGiborim" (Book of Heroes) on the Chofetz Chaim's grave. This book is being compiled with the names of Jews who commit to studying the Chofetz Chaim's teachings, specifically the daily Halacha (Jewish law) Daf Yomi (a page a day) study of the Mishnah Berurah. During the prayer, the rabbis will implore divine mercy for those whose names are inscribed in the book, reciting "Matnita d'Mar Ka Matninan", 'Master, we study Your Torah.'

According to tradition, prayers offered at the grave of a righteous individual while engaging with their Torah are particularly meritorious. This opportunity is now extended to the public. Individuals who join the daily Daf Yomi study of the Mishnah Berurah or commit to the daily page study can submit their names and those of their family members to be included in the "Sefer HaGiborim" that will be brought to Radin. Those wishing to have their names included in this historic event, where leading rabbis will pray for them at the Chofetz Chaim's tomb, are encouraged to establish a regular study routine and submit their names to join the "Sefer HaGiborim."
