Protest Leader Slams Defense Minister Katz Over West Bank Closure

Moshe Radman, a prominent leader of the Kaplan anti-government protests, launched a scathing online attack against Defense Minister Israel Katz and the government on Sunday. Radman criticized the closure imposed on the West Bank, calling Katz and the current government "fools with ambition and full of cruelty."

In his post on X, formerly Twitter, Radman specifically condemned the inclusion of medical teams in the closure. He stated that Katz "decided that this time medical teams are also included in the closure. Why? Because he can. Because he is a fool. Because he is heartless."

Radman argued that the decision has severe implications for the healthcare system, claiming that over 75% of doctors in East Jerusalem hospitals are unable to reach their workplaces. He also asserted that dozens of Palestinian doctors working in other Israeli hospitals, including intensive care and neonatal units, are also prevented from working.

Radman further contended that the closure could lead to the deaths of vulnerable individuals, both Arab and Jewish, due to the defense minister's focus on "governance" and "power" rather than security. He accused Katz of weakening Israel militarily, socially, internationally, and morally.
