Consumers Complain of iPhone 18 Delivery Delays and Poor Service from iDigital
Customers who pre-ordered the iPhone 18 series are reporting significant delays in receiving their devices, with some still waiting nearly two weeks after placing their orders. The complaints, which have surfaced on social media platforms like Facebook, also highlight frustration over a lack of clear delivery timelines and unsatisfactory customer service from iDigital, the authorized Apple reseller.
Many customers who placed orders shortly after pre-sales opened on September 12th claim they have yet to receive their phones or any concrete information about when they might arrive. Some reported ordering within the first hour of the sale but are still without their devices, expressing dismay at what they describe as "generic answers" and a "terrible service."
One customer noted that while they ordered an iPhone 18 Pro Max 512GB immediately after pre-orders began, they have not received it. They also observed that other retailers, such as KSP, are listing September 29th as a potential delivery start date, raising questions about broader supply issues.
Some reports suggest the delays might not be exclusive to iDigital, with claims that other retail chains are also struggling to provide estimated delivery dates for the new iPhones in Israel.
In response to the complaints, iDigital stated that the initial stock arriving in Israel is limited by Apple and that they are fulfilling orders based on the sequence in which they were placed and the specific models ordered. The company emphasized that deliveries are proceeding according to schedule, dependent on the quantity and models supplied by Apple to Israel.
