Jerusalem's Old City to Host Sacred Sukkot Processions

The Adaret Eliyahu community has announced the schedule for its traditional "gate circuits" during the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, known as Chol HaMoed. These sacred processions, emphasizing joy and adherence to religious purity, will take place from Sunday to Thursday, commencing at 8:00 AM from the Cotton Gate (Sha'ar HaKatan) within Jerusalem's Old City, following morning prayers.

On Sunday, the circuit will occur after the Vatikin prayer service and will include Rabbi Eliyahu Brit Zillberman and community rabbis. The procession will begin after the synagogue's study session concludes, with participants from the Hurva Synagogue joining shortly thereafter. Monday's circuit will be held in conjunction with the P'tei Olam Yeshiva. The main procession is scheduled for Tuesday.

Wednesday's circuit will feature rabbis and students from the settlement of Metzad, with the participation of Rabbi Efraim Zillberman and Rabbi Rafael Kook. The week's processions will conclude on Thursday with rabbis from the Adaret Eliyahu Yeshiva.
