Palestine Solidarity March in Dusseldorf Sparks Police Concerns Over Unrest

Dusseldorf, Germany is set to host a large pro-Palestinian demonstration titled "We Do Not Forget Gaza" today, with organizers anticipating approximately 5,000 participants. The rally's main slogans include "Freedom for Palestine," "Freedom for Lebanon," "Hands off Iran," and "Hands off Yemen." To facilitate attendance, organizers have arranged a special "Intifada Bus" service from Berlin, charging 35 euros for the trip, which includes transportation and food. The same bus will return participants to Berlin after the demonstration. German media have noted that the travel advertisement specifies separate accommodations for men and women, though it remains unclear if this means separate buses or segregated seating within the same vehicle.

Dusseldorf police are preparing for potential unrest, as a total of 15 different demonstrations and events have been registered in the city for today. Among these is a pro-Israel event organized by Iron Dome Deutschland. Authorities anticipate a total turnout of 15,000 to 20,000 people across all the day's events.
