New Films "The Beast's Heart" and "The Courier" Premiere in Israel

Two new films, "The Beast's Heart" and "The Courier," have premiered in Israeli cinemas, available in Russian. "The Beast's Heart" stars Brad Pitt as a special forces officer stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his dog after a plane crash. Directed by David Ayer, known for "The Beekeeper," the film was shot in New Zealand and features J.K. Simmons. Pitt described working with the dog actor, Uber, as challenging but rewarding. Early reviews praise the film as a survival action-drama, with one critic calling it a favorite for dog lovers. A special outdoor screening is scheduled for September 30th on the Azrieli Mall rooftop in Tel Aviv, closing the Movieland Summer Sky season.

"The Courier" is an action thriller about a former soldier, Hank Malone, played by Alan Ritchson, who must deliver a donor liver to a young girl within three hours. He is pursued by a criminal gang and is joined by an unlikely partner, portrayed by Owen Wilson. The film is directed by Scott Waugh, a former stuntman, and its script was recognized in Hollywood's 2023 "Black List" of promising unproduced screenplays. "The Courier" has received positive reviews, with critics on Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 75% rating, while audiences rated it 89%. While praised for its fast pace and the chemistry between Ritchson and Wilson, some critics noted familiar plot tropes and inconsistent humor.

Both films are showing in Russian at Hot Cinema, Planet, and Movieland theaters. Additionally, screenings of "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" continue in Russian.
