East Jerusalem Man Arrested, Suspected of Murdering Wife in Haifa

A court in Haifa has extended the arrest of Ali Musawda, a 28-year-old resident of Silwan in East Jerusalem, for four days. Musawda is suspected of murdering his wife overnight in Haifa. The victim, in her 30s, was found in critical condition on Ha'atzmaut Street overnight and was taken to Rambam Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
During questioning, Musawda denied the charges against him. The investigation is ongoing.
