Social Media Star Odaya Pinto Buys Home, Credits Negative Comments for Income

Social media influencer Odaya Pinto, who previously identified as Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) before leaving that lifestyle, has purchased a home with her own earnings. Pinto, who has recently been reconnecting with her religious roots, shared in an interview with "Mako" that she and her fiancé, businessman Elior Sofer, maintain separate bank accounts and have signed a prenuptial agreement.

Pinto explained her reasoning for the financial arrangements, stating, "You can't know what will happen in a year or two, God forbid he cheats on me or any other crazy thing. There are plenty of stories of women who were left with nothing." She added that she convinced Sofer by emphasizing his greater wealth and assets, while she would be content with her own earnings. The couple plans to open a joint account for their future children.

Pinto expressed satisfaction with her ability to earn a living through social media collaborations with major brands. She revealed that her income has allowed her to support her parents and achieve her dream of homeownership, purchasing her house four months prior to the interview. She aspires to buy another property in the future.

Addressing the harsh criticism she faces online, Pinto stated that negative comments no longer affect her emotionally. Instead, she views them as a source of income, explaining, "Every disgusting comment puts another ten shekels in my bank account, that's how it works. Another comment, more exposure, and in the end, they will buy pots for the holiday with my coupon code." She believes the online negativity benefits her by increasing her visibility and making her more interesting to the public.
