Man Hospitalized After Falling From Ladder While Building Sukkah

A man in his 50s was hospitalized after falling from a ladder while constructing a sukkah in Bnei Brak on Friday. Emergency responders provided initial medical treatment at the scene before he was transported to Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer in stable condition.

According to paramedics who treated him, the man fell while climbing the ladder to build the sukkah. He sustained head and limb injuries and was taken to the hospital's trauma unit.

This incident highlights a recurring issue during the Sukkot holiday preparations, as many families engage in building sukkahs. The Hatzalah organization issued a warning, urging the public to be cautious of the dangers involved in sukkah construction and to use safe, standardized equipment.

Thousands of families across Israel are currently making final preparations for the holiday. Even soldiers are building sukkahs in operational areas, including Lebanon, while continuing their duties.
