Tiberias Reopens Shikmim Beach on Sea of Galilee After Water Tests Pass

The Tiberias Municipal Union announced that Shikmim Beach on the Sea of Galilee has been reopened to the public for swimming. Water quality tests conducted on the morning of the announcement confirmed that the water is safe and meets the required standards.

The Ministry of Health also issued a statement confirming the reopening, noting that the swimming advisory for "Hshikmim" beach has been lifted following the receipt of satisfactory test results. The Municipal Union stated that all its calm beaches remain open for swimming and encouraged visitors to enjoy a safe and pleasant holiday.

The decision to reopen the beach follows a period during which swimming was restricted pending the water quality assessments.
