Iran Blames US, Israel for Regional Insecurity to UK

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi met with his British counterpart on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly annual meeting to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Aragchi stated that insecurity in the region and the Strait of Hormuz resulted from "American and Israeli aggression," which he claimed was supported by European countries.

Aragchi emphasized that achieving lasting stability and security in the region depends on ending the occupation and ensuring the rights of the Palestinian people. He urged Britain and other European nations to assume their responsibilities, as reported by the ministry.

The Iranian minister also called for a correction of what he described as the "destructive and irresponsible approach" of some European countries toward Iran and regional developments. He deemed interference in the internal affairs of countries and the use of human rights issues as a tool unacceptable.

Aragchi further demanded that Britain and other countries take action against Israeli officials, citing accusations of genocide, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
