Indictment Filed Against Man Suspected of Cesarea Restaurant Murder

An indictment has been filed against Doron Weizman, who is suspected of murdering Yanis Yushbayev in a Cesarea restaurant. The indictment alleges that Weizman armed himself, arrived at the restaurant in a stolen vehicle with fake license plates, ordered food, and waited for Yushbayev. When Yushbayev left the restaurant with friends, Weizman allegedly followed him, approached, and shot him in the head at close range. Yushbayev collapsed at the scene and was pronounced dead, while Weizman fled.

The prosecution stated that Weizman did not know Yushbayev prior to the incident. The indictment details that the murder was carried out with "freezing calm, after prior planning, in broad daylight, in a crowded restaurant." Weizman has a record of 38 previous convictions and has served lengthy prison sentences in the past.

Weizman is charged with intentional murder under aggravated circumstances, weapons offenses, driving without a valid license, and driving without valid insurance. The prosecution is requesting that he be held in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
