Comedian Shahar Hason Cast in New Israeli Air Force Comedy Film
Israeli stand-up comedian Shahar Hason has been cast in a new comedy film titled "HaTuvim Le'Tis" (The Good Ones for Flight), produced by United, according to journalist Gil Meshali. Hason, who has been performing for over 25 years and is a prominent figure in Israeli entertainment, will portray a schemer offered a chance to escape military prison by joining a flight course as part of a social experiment conducted by the Israeli Air Force.
Actress and model Yael Elkana, known for her roles in popular Israeli TV series like "HaTavach" and "Kibutznikim," will also star in the film. This marks another significant step for Hason in the film industry, following his appearance earlier this year in the comedy "Giv'a 338," a tribute to the classic Israeli film "Giv'at Halfon Ein Ana." That film featured a cast including Eli Yatzpan and Tal Friedman.
Hason has a long career in comedy, hosting and appearing in numerous Israeli entertainment shows such as "Tz'chok Me'Avoda" and "Eretz Nehederet." In 2023, he also participated in the indie film "Ima Prime Time" and hosted the fourth season of the Kan 11 show "Carpool Karaoke."
