Hapoel Tel Aviv Coach Itoudis Regrets Missed Opportunities in EuroLeague Loss

Hapoel Tel Aviv suffered an 86-84 defeat to Bayern Munich in their opening EuroLeague game on Thursday, despite a remarkable comeback. Hapoel coach Dimitris Itoudis acknowledged the team's strong defensive effort and their ability to fight back into the game. "The good part is that we came back, in basketball it's never too late," Itoudis stated, highlighting the team's resilience.

Despite the comeback, Itoudis expressed frustration with his team's performance, particularly their inability to capitalize on their momentum. "We were aggressive, we got stops and got back into the game, but we made it easy for Bayern," he admitted. "It's the opening round, and it's a loss we'll have to deal with now."
