Israel Boosts West Bank Security Ahead of Jewish Holidays Amid Attack Surge

Israel's security forces are significantly increasing their presence in the West Bank in anticipation of a tense period surrounding the Sukkot and Simchat Torah holidays. This heightened alert comes in response to a recent spate of deadly attacks in the region and marks the third anniversary of the October 7th massacre.

As part of the reinforcement, the IDF has deployed additional combat troops, including the offensive Division 98, which has fought across multiple fronts.
