Organization 2000 Reports Thousands Embrace Jewish Observance During High Holy Days

Organization 2000 has concluded a busy High Holy Days period, reporting that over 4,500 individuals committed to strengthening their observance of Jewish practices, including Shabbat, kashrut, modesty, and family purity laws. This surge in commitment followed the organization's recent launch event for its new headquarters and "Jewish Studios of the People of Israel," held under the theme "Connecting the People of Israel." The event featured prominent rabbis, including Chief Rabbi of Israel Kalman Bar and Rabbi David Lau, along with Knesset members and ministers such as Aryeh Deri, Bezalel Smotrich, Shlomo Karhi, and Miki Zohar.

During the month of Elul and the Days of Awe, the organization conducted over 200 home study groups across Israel, focusing on repentance and preparation for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Its newly inaugurated studios produced special broadcasts for the High Holy Days, with two main programs reaching over 100,000 viewers globally. The organization's global Halakha (Jewish law) center, headed by Rabbi Yaniv Azizi and under the presidency of Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, handled over 2,200 calls and messages in the 24 hours before Yom Kippur, providing guidance on fasting and holiday preparations.

Further outreach included the establishment of new tefillin (phylacteries) stations at IDF bases in the Gaza envelope region. A telephone portal attracted over 50,000 listeners to Torah classes and inspirational content. The organization also distributed its weekly magazine, "2000," to over 145,000 households. In addition to educational and spiritual activities, Organization 2000 provided assistance to families in need, distributing over 500 food baskets to underprivileged families and those of Kollel members before the holidays.

Organization 2000 emphasized that the most significant outcome of the High Holy Days period was the personal commitments made by over 4,500 individuals, viewing this as a testament to their successful engagement beyond mere passive consumption of content. These commitments represent tangible steps taken by individuals to deepen their connection to Judaism, extending beyond the conclusion of the High Holy Days.
