Iran Warns of Wider War Beyond Middle East if Attacked

Iran has issued a warning that military actions could extend beyond the Middle East if the United States or Israel launch further strikes on Iranian territory. Yahya Rahim Safavi, an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stated that the current conflict has already expanded beyond its usual combat zones.

Safavi elaborated that the confrontation has spread from the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz towards the Red Sea. He suggested that further escalation could lead to the emergence of a new front.

According to the advisor, this potential new front could reach the Indian Ocean and possibly extend even further. "The front will expand further, reaching the Indian Ocean and possibly even beyond it," Safavi was quoted as saying.
