Documentary on Elite IDF Unit Outdraws Evening News Broadcasts

A documentary about the Duvdevan Unit, titled "Special Forces - Duvdevan," achieved a significant viewership of 375,000, capturing 13.4% of the audience and surpassing the evening news broadcast on Channel 12, which garnered 321,000 viewers. The film, produced by Ben Caspit, also significantly outperformed "HaMekor" on Channel 13, attracting over 3.6 times more viewers.

In the prime-time ratings, "Special Forces - Duvdevan" secured the top spot. Channel 14's "HaPatriotim" followed in second place with 8.7% and 228,000 viewers, a difference of 4.7 rating points. Later that evening, a program on Channel 14 featuring Gadi Eisenkot drew 6.9% and 183,000 viewers, outperforming prime-time shows on Channel 11 and Channel 13.

Among the news broadcasts, Channel 12's news program led with 11.2% and 321,000 viewers, followed by Channel 14's news with 6.7% and 169,000 viewers. Channel 13's news attracted 4.2% and 110,000 viewers, while Channel 11's news had 3.1% and 106,000 viewers.

In the late-night slot, KAN 11's "Intimi" led with 6.4% and 156,000 viewers. Channel 14's "Petchi et She" followed with 3.3% and 85,000 viewers, and "HaYom Shehaya" on Channel 13 had 2.5% and 88,000 viewers. KAN 11's "Hadashot HaLayla" concluded the late-night programming with 1.8% and 44,000 viewers. Overall, KAN 11 emerged as the leader across the three main programming slots, with the Duvdevan documentary being its strongest performer.
