Special Interview Propels Channel 12 to Dominant Ratings Victory

Channel 12 secured a commanding lead in Israeli television ratings on Tuesday evening, largely driven by a special interview that captivated audiences during prime time. The broadcast garnered 15% of the viewership, translating to 438,000 viewers, significantly outperforming its competitors. Three rival channels hovered around the 5% mark, with Channel 12's viewership more than triple that of Reshet 13 and Kan 11.

This lead extended into the later hours, with the program "Avri and Sharqi" on Channel 12 achieving a 9.7% rating. In comparison, Reshet 13's "Ha'ma'avara" recorded 4.8% (148,000 viewers), and Kan 11's "Ha'zirah" garnered 4.9% (139,000 viewers). Later on Kan 11, "Meeting with Roni Kovan" drew 2.8% (74,000 viewers).

Among other channels, Channel 14's "HaPatriotim" led with 5.1% (141,000 viewers), while "Sihah im Oded Harosh" achieved 3.7% (96,000 viewers).

In the news bulletin segment, Channel 12's news program maintained a substantial advantage, attracting 12.2% (388,000 viewers), more than double its closest competitors. Kan 11 secured second place with 5.1% (151,000 viewers), followed by Channel 14's news at 4.9% (123,000 viewers), and Reshet 13's news at 4% (112,000 viewers). The gap between Channel 12 and Kan 11 was 7.1 rating points and 237,000 viewers, a wider margin than observed in some recent evenings.

"Avri and Sharqi" specifically saw an increase from its previous month's performance, rising to 9.7% with 277,000 viewers, an improvement of 0.6 rating points and approximately 20,000 viewers. Other late-night programming included Ben Tzur's live performance on Channel 12 (3.7%), "HaTzinor" on Reshet 13 (3.2%), a rerun on Reshet 13 (2.9%), a rerun on Kan 11 (2.6%), and "Hadashot HaLayla" on Channel 14 (3.2%).
