Channel 12 Dominates Israeli Ratings with Top 10 Shows
As the Hebrew year 5786 concludes, Channel 12 has solidified its position as the undisputed leader in Israeli television viewership, securing all top ten primetime programs by average rating. The channel's flagship show, "HaMerotz LaMillion 2026" (The Race to a Million 2026), led the pack with an average rating of 18.6%.
Following closely were the new series "Rish: Adir Miller" at 18.2% and the popular satire show "Eretz Nehederet" with 17.8%. Other top performers for Channel 12 included "HaKochav HaBa La Eurovision 2026" (The Next Star for Eurovision 2026) at 17.6%, "Or Rishon" at 17.1%, "Master Chef" at 16.9%, "Mo'adon Layla" at 16.3%, "Raiyon Meyuchad" at 15.7%, "Rokdim Im Kochavim 2026" (Dancing with the Stars 2026) at 15.6%, and "Chatuna Me'Mabat Rishon" (Married at First Sight) rounding out the top ten with 15.1%.
The dominance of Channel 12 is further emphasized when examining the top 20 most-watched programs, with 19 of them belonging to the network. The only exception was "HaAch HaGadol" (Big Brother) from Channel 13, which ranked 12th.
This data reflects a year where Channel 12 not only maintained its leading position but also achieved an unprecedented feat of occupying every spot in the top ten. For viewers, this means that the primary competition for primetime viewing has largely been within Channel 12's own programming schedule.
