Keshet 12 Regains Lead in Israeli News Ratings as Kan 11 Viewership Drops Post-World Cup

Following a surge in viewership during the recent FIFA World Cup broadcasts, Israel's public broadcaster Kan 11 saw a significant boost in its news ratings. However, as the sporting event concluded, traditional viewing habits quickly resumed. On Monday, Keshet 12 reclaimed its dominant position in the evening news slot with a 12.8% rating, leading by a wide margin.

Kan 11's flagship news program experienced the steepest decline, falling to a 2.6% rating and fourth place after its World Cup peak. Channel 14's news maintained a strong second place with 7.3%, while Channel 13's news ranked third at 4.6%. The youngest news outlet, i24NEWS, closed the rankings with a 1.3% rating.

In prime time entertainment, Keshet 12's "Dancing with the Stars" continued as the season's top show, securing a 16% rating. A close contest for second place unfolded between Channel 13's music show "The Voice" at 9% and Channel 14's flagship program "The Patriots" at 8.9%. Kan 11's "The State's Paycheck" followed with 6.6%, and i24NEWS's "The Israelis" finished last with 0.4%.
