Patient Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Nurse at Hillel Yaffe Hospital
Police in Hadera have launched an investigation into an alleged assault on a nurse at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. According to initial reports, a patient became agitated and verbally abusive towards the nurse during a discussion. When asked to cease his behavior, the patient allegedly attacked the nurse, throwing a bottle at her and causing significant physical injury.
Hospital security personnel intervened immediately and detained the suspect until police arrived. Officers from the Hadera station responded to the scene and quickly arrested the suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Hadera, who was taken for questioning.
Professor Miki Dudkevitch, Director of the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, condemned the "brutal act," stating that the hospital staff provides care around the clock and will not tolerate threats or harm to its employees. He emphasized the hospital's commitment to protecting its staff and eradicating violence within its facilities.
