Israeli Couple Niv Sultan and Maor Schweitzer Star as Married Pair in New Film

Israeli actors Niv Sultan and Maor Schweitzer, a real-life married couple, are set to appear together on screen as a married couple for the first time in the new film "Good Boys 3." The film, which premieres in cinemas tomorrow, continues the "Good Boys" series and is set within the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community, focusing on a matchmaking plot that becomes complicated as characters grapple with personal desires versus societal expectations.

Sultan, who gained international recognition for her role as Mossad agent Tamar in the series "Tehran," and Schweitzer, known for his roles in "Valley of Tears" and "The Policemen," married in 2022 and are parents to a one-year-old son. This is not their first on-screen collaboration, as they have previously starred together in the "Good Boys" film series.

Schweitzer expressed his enjoyment of working with his wife, calling her "the best actress in the country" and stating it's "the most fun in the world" to act alongside her. He also commented on the challenges of filming while raising a young child, crediting extended family, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, for providing the necessary support and time.

Co-star Irrit Kolpan noted their professionalism on set, emphasizing that they treated each other as colleagues. Moshe Ashkenazi, another actor in the film, praised their on-screen chemistry, observing their "admiration and love" for each other. Ashkenazi also mentioned that the plot builds upon the previous installments, involving matchmaking and exploring themes of money within the Haredi sector, with the story this time set in New York.
