Ariel Youth Movement Launches Year with Mass Mobilizations

The Ariel youth movement kicked off its operational year with large-scale events across Israel under the slogan "Thirsty Souls." Tens of thousands of participants joined the mobilization, which took place at three distinct locations. Boys' chapters convened in Haruvit Forest, while girls' chapters marched at Mitzpe Mashoa and Ofer Forest. The events featured engaging stations and workshops led by training teams.

Concluding ceremonies marked the three-year anniversary of the "War of Uprising," with prominent figures addressing the youth. Among them were the movement's secretary-general, Elchanan Wolf, and Knesset candidates. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Itamar Itam encouraged the young attendees, stating, "You see before you the future rabbis, officers, educators, scholars, scientists, and doctors of the people of Israel." He emphasized the importance of knowing one's direction and being ready to lead.

Reut Ben Haim, founder of the "Tzav 9" movement, spoke to the girls about the importance of proactive action and building. She highlighted the need for initiative, drawing parallels to her movement's response to the ongoing conflict, focusing on the hostages and soldiers. Zvika Mor, father of released hostage Eitan Mor, urged the participants to continue the legacy of their ancestors by engaging with the land, emphasizing that victory over enemies is still to come.

During the event, Elchanan Wolf shared a personal account of his involvement in the operation to recover the body of hostage Ran Guili. The participants also recited a chapter of Psalms in memory of Yoav Shokron, son of Natanel Shokron, who was murdered in a terror attack. A prayer was offered for the success of IDF soldiers. Wolf concluded by expressing his satisfaction with the turnout and the youth's dedication to truth, Torah, love of the land, and sacred deeds, anticipating a fruitful year ahead.
