Israeli Strategist Yisrael Einhorn Advised Venezuelan Dictator Maduro

Strategic consultant Yisrael Einhorn provided advice to Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, who is described as a former dictator and an extreme anti-Israel figure currently under U.S. sanctions. The work was reportedly conducted discreetly, according to a report by i24NEWS.

In a July 30, 2024, exchange with Eli Feldstein, Einhorn sent a message stating, "Greetings from Caracas. Discreet, of course." Feldstein responded with apparent ignorance, "I don't know. I haven't heard of this place." In a subsequent message the same day, Einhorn mentioned "Venezuela," prompting Feldstein to ask, "What's there?" Einhorn then shared a Ynet article about Maduro's refusal to concede election results. Feldstein replied, "I don't know who you're working with there. Hahaha."

Einhorn has previously advised the Likud party's campaign and is a friend of Yonatan Urich. He has been residing in Serbia in recent years and has refused to return to Israel following his involvement in several controversies. These include allegations of harassing state witness Shlomo Filber, leaking the "Hamas document" to the German newspaper Bild alongside Eli Feldstein, and the "Qatar-gate" affair, which exposed a campaign supporting Qatar.

Einhorn is the son of legal scholar Prof. Talia Einhorn, who serves on the advisory committee for appointing senior civil servants. Einhorn declined to comment on the report.
