Netanyahu Aide's Secret Venezuela Trip Revealed in Leaked Messages

Leaked correspondence has revealed that Israel Einhorn, an advisor close to the Prime Minister's Office, was in Caracas, Venezuela, earlier this week. Einhorn sent his location from a hotel in the Venezuelan capital to Eli Feldstein, a spokesperson for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Einhorn messaged Feldstein, "Greetings from Caracas, discreetly of course." Feldstein responded, "I don't know. I haven't heard of this place." He then inquired, "What's there?" Einhorn replied by sending Feldstein a Ynet news report about Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro's refusal to concede defeat in an election. Feldstein reacted with amusement, "I don't know who you're working with there lol," and asked if it was "a nice place." Einhorn confirmed, "Very, less so than Thailand."

This revelation follows previous reports by legal correspondent Avishai Grinzaig about a month ago, which exposed a series of communications among key figures in Netanyahu's office, including Yonatan Uriach, Eli Feldstein, and Topaz Lok. These earlier leaks detailed alleged efforts to sow discord between IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant during wartime, fabricated stories sold to journalists, cynical maneuvers during meetings with families of hostages, and an instruction sheet sent to Yaakov Bardugo from the Prime Minister's Office.
