Prison Guards Claim Innocence in Inmate's Death During Cell Extraction

Two prison guards involved in an incident that led to the death of an inmate in cell number 6 have asserted their innocence, claiming they are 'blameless.' The guards' defense attorneys stated that their clients reject all accusations and deny the facts presented in the indictment. They argue that the full picture is far from what is being portrayed and will be revealed in court.

One attorney, Ephraim Damari, representing some of the accused, declared that his clients completely deny the charges against them and maintain their innocence. He emphasized that the complete truth differs significantly from the indictment's narrative and will emerge during legal proceedings.

Another attorney, Samer Ali, also representing some of the accused, contested the accuracy of the indictment's facts, calling them significantly distorted. He specifically refuted the claim that the inmate's death resulted from the entry of the 'Keter' force, stating there is no evidence to support this. Ali further asserted that the case currently relies on two testimonies that he believes will collapse under cross-examination.
