Hezbollah Leader Says Israel Will Collapse From Within and Leave Lebanon

Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem told the Ashura council that Israel will “collapse from within” and will not remain on Lebanese soil. He also said Iran emerged stronger despite its losses and proved it will not give up its rights.

Qassem argued that any ceasefire that gives Israel freedom of action is merely a continuation of aggression. In his view, a real ceasefire means a complete halt on land, in the air, and at sea.

He urged Lebanon’s government to use the closure of the Strait of Hormuz as a powerful pressure tool. He also said that if Donald Trump decides to force his position on Benjamin Netanyahu, Netanyahu would have to obey.

“Only a fool thinks Trump cannot stop Israel,” Qassem said.
