Donald Trump Jr. Backs Military Action Against Iran, Cites Threat to Israel

Donald Trump Jr., son of the former U.S. President, has expressed strong support for military action against Iran, stating that the West had ignored the threat for years and that Iran seeks the destruction of Israel and the United States. In an exclusive interview with Israel's Channel 12 News, Trump Jr. described the campaign against Tehran as a necessary step to prevent a hostile nation from acquiring weapons of mass destruction.

He emphasized that his father, Donald Trump, was forced to confront issues that previous presidents avoided, including the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities. Trump Jr. highlighted Iran's repeated calls for "Death to America" and noted that their desire for Israel's demise is potentially even greater. He praised his father's "courage" in taking action, stating that while his father prefers to avoid wars, circumstances sometimes necessitate intervention, especially when a nation aims to develop nuclear weapons.

Regarding the upcoming Israeli elections on October 27th, Trump Jr. deflected questions about potential U.S. support for specific candidates, including Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting such inquiries should be directed to the White House. He reiterated that his father has historically maintained excellent relationships with all Israeli political parties and has always received a warm reception.

Trump Jr. also revealed that the ongoing war in Israel has temporarily halted the expansion of the Trump Organization's business ventures in the country. He had visited Israel in February 2023 to advance plans for luxury hotels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, but the outbreak of war led to a pause, which the organization deemed insensitive given the national shock. However, he indicated that the company remains open to future opportunities in the region.

While Israeli projects are on hold, the Trump Organization is proceeding with a $2 billion project in Tbilisi, Georgia, and is expanding into investments in cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and defense technologies. Notably, the organization has invested in the Israeli drone company XTEND, which Trump Jr. described as having critical technology for safeguarding the Western way of life.
