Reality TV Couple Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes Tie the Knot

Tom Haimov and Shahar Chernes, who found love on the reality dating show "Ahava Hadasha" (New Love), were married on Tuesday. The couple exchanged vows in a large ceremony at the "Luka" event hall, surrounded by family and friends.

Their wedding date was originally scheduled for March 2026 but was postponed due to the recent escalation of conflict with Iran. The couple became engaged in July 2025, after a year and four months of dating.

Earlier this month, Haimov and Chernes appeared on "Walla Ishi," a podcast by Walla Celebs, discussing their excitement for the wedding, the postponement, and the recent difficult period. Chernes reflected on the postponement, stating, "During that time, in March, we were going through a difficult period. I remember I was counting on the wedding to bring good things. I remember telling myself the wedding would bring excitement. I put all my weight on it, and suddenly, when it was postponed, I said, 'Oh no, what will I put my excitement on now?' And you don't get married like that. We needed it to be postponed, something from above, and we probably gained time."
