National Security Minister Ben-Gvir Defends Prison Project, Eyes Defense Ministry

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stated on Tuesday evening that his 'crocodile project' in prisons is a success, asserting that "they are afraid of it." Responding to a question about the project's status, Ben-Gvir declared that he had fulfilled his election promise to bring order to the prison system. He claimed that "not one person in the State of Israel" would deny that he had kept his word regarding the Israel Prison Service.

Ben-Gvir further elaborated that the 'crocodile project' is excellent and that prisoners fear it. He invited the questioner to visit the facilities to see the results, insisting that the promise regarding prisons and the National Guard had been fully implemented. While acknowledging that not everything is perfect, he expressed satisfaction with fulfilling five to six promises entirely and presented six promises for his potential role as Defense Minister, stating he would sign off on an "80% success rate."

Ben-Gvir made these remarks during a festive statement where he indicated his next target is the Defense Ministry.
