Arad Mayor Criticizes Gadi Eisenkot's Party for Illegal Election Signage

The mayor of Arad, Yair Maayan, has sharply criticized the "Yashar!" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, for allegedly hanging election advertisements on a public building, specifically the city's municipal high school. Maayan stated that it is regrettable that a party promoting "clean hands" as a policy began its election campaign in Arad by illegally posting signs on a state-owned public structure.

According to the mayor, this constitutes a violation of the law regarding the improper use of municipal public property. Maayan emphasized that the municipality will not permit any party to break the law during the election period. He clarified that the city permits the placement of information booths in commercial centers and the hanging of signs on private residences.

Maayan warned that offenders would face fines from municipal supervision and that the signs would be immediately removed. At this stage, these are allegations raised by the mayor.
